In an effort to support the development of competitive, travel soccer players, the Pelham Soccer Club launched a coed Development Academy Program in the fall of 2016.  2017 and 2018 were also very successful where we invited the bulk of our players to join Fall teams.  This 2019 Spring season will also train an Academy group. The Academy will focus on positively impacting the everyday soccer player to assist in maximizing youth player development in our area.

The Development Academy (DA) will be open to boys and girls born in 2011 and 2012. Players will train 1 time per week and the training will be hosted by the Pelham Soccer Club.  The training sessions will be tailored to meet the goals of the enrolled players along with the goals of the Pelham Soccer Club.  Players that register for the Academy will be Pelham Soccer Club members and will be expected to commit to the weekly training activities.  

Furthermore, Academy players that train with us this season can look forward to our annual June Tryout for the Pelham Soccer Club's competitive U9 team(s) that will be formed for the Fall 2019 season. The goals of the Development Academy are to prepare boys and girls for this tryout and to compete at a higher level than that expected of traditional recreational soccer.

Costs to Participate - $80 Academy membership fee (Due upon registration and will include this season's Academy jersey and soccer ball)
There is no need to purchase any other PSC uniform items.  We will provide the only shirt that is required.
